In La Forêt-Fouesnant
La Forêt-Fouesnant is a town in the Finistère region of Brittany.
A typical Breton village with an outstanding oceanfront location in the heart of the Brittany Riviera between Bénodet, Quimper and Concarneau.
This densely wooded resort, which has official tourism destination status, offers direct access to the sea and its marina Port-La-Forêt – the third biggest in South Brittany – is home-port to a number of leading offshore racing skippers.
Follow its footpaths and hiking trails and you’ll come across the old harbour, the magnificent granite church, the sheltered, long sandy beach, the 18-hole golf course and the marina ‘Port-La-Forêt’.
With plenty of local culinary specialities, such as crêpes, cider and shellfish, La Forêt-Fouesnant is an excellent food lover’s destination, too.
Breton culture plays a strong part in local life and can be enjoyed all year round through a wide programme of performances and events.
